I have the perfect event to start your day. It’s full of sunshine, ear-to-ear smiles and a pretty garden setting straight out of out of a Jane Ayre novel. With shades of purple, pops of rose pink and a crisp white decor against fresh green lawns, it’s a fresh Summer wedding with a spring in its step and a effervescently joyful bride you can’t help but love to bits. So grab a fresh cup of coffee and soak up every gorgeous image of this Knoxville Tennessee garden wedding brought to you by Jo Photo.
From the Photographer: This is a beautiful summer garden wedding in Knoxville, Tennessee. The couple had various personalized and sentimental elements such as a violinist who walked around the reception and serenaded everyone (instead of having a DJ), the groom’s two sons were the best “men,” and each family member’s chair had a personalized tag for Mom, Mad, Grandma Isabelle, etc. The bride’s father and step-father both walked the bride down the aisle, and the bride’s bouquet was gorgeous! April and Mike are such a sweet couple, you can tell when they are together that they love each other so much, and they make a great team! April is such a genuinely sweet person, she is a light to everyone and everything around her. She’s always smiling, and when she and Mike are together, you will most likely find them laughing together.
The instant I laid eyes on this lovely outdoor DIY Tennessee Wedding, I immediately knew we were in for one fabulous affair. This coral pink soiree is jam-packed with the prettiest handmade touches and then some. Complete with adorable bird houses, rustic mason jars centrepieces and charming burlap details, it’s like you’ve wandered into a secret garden on a Spring afternoon. Not to mention the amazing contrasting pops of coral pink against the natural hues of soft green and taupe – you couldn’t ask for a prettier palette. Jo Photo was right there in Maryville to capture every eye-catching moment, so we have a gorgeous treasure trove of swoon-worthy images just waiting to be adored. What are we waiting for?
From the Photographer: This eco-chic wedding was jam packed with DIY details, including bird houses, wood table centerpieces with mason jars filled with bird seed and tea lights, burlap table runners, silverware tied with twine, a “Just Married” banner draped across the head table, personalized hand fans for all the ceremony guests, and on and on and on! The groomsmen all wore bow ties and argyle socks. Oh, and be sure to check out their wedding cake with the hand made love bird cake topper on the wood cake stand too! At the end of their wedding, all the guests went out into the field at Smithview Pavilion and lit and released Chinese sky lanterns. It was an amazing send off, and a fabulous ending to their wedding day!
