Striking Blue and White New York Military Wedding

If you’re all about tradition and sophisticated old fashioned style, then you’ll love this striking blue and white New York wedding by Ceci B Photography. Marianne and Micheal had a military wedding at the beautiful Oheka Castle located in Long Island, NY. Both Marianne and Micheal are officers in the US Army so they chose beautiful shades of blue for their wedding color in honor of their military background. When you combine a fairytale location such as this, with a stunning bride and an atmosphere like a scene from an ”Officer and a Gentlemen’  then you know this is an affair which will sweep you off your feet!Traditional Castle WeddingMilitary Bride and GroomBlue White Military WeddingOutdoor Wedding Ceremony White ChairsBlue Castle Wedding New YorkMilitary Blue and White CeremonyMilitary Wedding BridesmaidsMilitary New York WeddingMilitary Wedding CeremonyNew York Real WeddingCastle Wedding Seating CardsTraditional WeddingMilitary Castle Wedding Ballroom ReceptionBlue White Three Tier Square Wedding CakeMilitary Wedding Bridal PartyCastle Wedding ReceptionNew York Military WeddingTraditional Blue White WeddingBlue and White Castle Wedding

Fun Casual Wading River New York Wedding

There’s nothing like a fun soiree to help you get through the mid-week slump and this laid-back elegant New York wedding is just the event to do it. It’s brimming with vibrant colours, vintage lace details and plenty of festivity on the dance floor. So without further adieu I’ll hand you over to photographer Casey Fatchett to share with you the details of this fun-filled event.Multi Colored Pastel Wedding Parasols‘Kelly, the bride, went to high school with my wife on Long Island. I recall my wife saying, “She’s deadly with a rifle…” (apparently they were on the riflery team together). When Chris and Kelly moved back to New York after both getting their PhD’s in English Literature in Toronto, I was happy to meet with them about photographing their wedding. They have to be one of the most laid back, casual, calm couples I have ever dealt with. The wedding reflected this perfectly! A casual ceremony (with lots of obscure literary readings) and lots of playfulness with the bridesmaids parasols and fans (which were necessary as it was unbelievably warm). The reception featured Chris’s grandmother serenading the couple with a rousing rendition of “Stand By Your Man” and my personal favorite moment, The Flower. The groom and groomsmen surrounded the bride and well…created a dance ‘flower’ with her at the center. It really defies description.’Real Wedding New YorkMulti Colored Bridesmaids Paper FansCasual WeddingsVintage Lace Parasol BrideFlower Girl Vintage ParasolCasual Vintage Wedding New YorkNew York Wedding Vintage Lace ParasolCasual Elegant Wedding CakeCasual Outdoor New York WeddingCasual Elegant New York WeddingCasual Wedding Purple FavorsCasual Fun Wedding DancingWedding Reception SerenadeCasual Outdoor New York WeddingWading River Wedding

Aren’t the paper flowers fantastic! I love the multi-layered effect of the paper to make the inner petals and the pretty pastel pink buttons to highlight each flower’s centre.
