We just adore unforgettable engagement sessions, and this Noosa love shoot from Trigger Happy Images happens to be downright amazing! Gorgeous couple Tegan and Jordan captured their romance not just with a pretty picnic setting, lounging in the sun, and listening to the strum of a guitar. But they hit the jackpot by including a stroll along the breathtaking headland with the sun setting no less! Luckily for us (and you), the talented folks at Trigger Happy were happy to share…
From the bride-to-be:
Jordan and I met 19 years ago in ‘Year One’. Despite showing very little interest in me at the time, he managed to make a lasting impression on me as i can clearly remember from my primary school days thinking that i wanted to marry someone like Jordan when i grow up. It wasn’t until i left that particular school and some 11 years after that, that we crossed paths again at church. It was only then that he took an interest and finally asked me out (i’d been waiting for quite some time!).
For our one year anniversary we decided to celebrate by spending the weekend in Noosa. Little did I know that there was soon to be more reason to celebrate! Jordan had organised a picnic by the bay, where he popped the question. We wanted to keep our engagement relaxed and true to us – acoustic tunes over a picnic by the sea, much like the day Jordan proposed. We are counting down the days until we say the ‘I dos’ at the most beautiful property in the Byron Hinterland in the presence of our closest friends and family. We have loved every second of our journey together over the last 2 years, so much in fact we’ve been inspired to create Roost Film Co, a boutique film house specialising in short cinematic films to capture life’s special moments! http://vimeo.com/roostfilmco
From the photographers:
We spent one perfect afternoon with Tegan & Jordan, capturing the love, down at Fingal Headland in Northern NSW. The conditions were perfect: gorgeous people, stunning light, gorgeous location, a picnic, sparklers, party poppers and champagne. We couldn’t ask for better. We ended up spending over 2 hours with these guys and we think the images really show. No one was rushing, we were all just relaxed and having fun!

We have Chalmers Photography to thank for this captivating wedding portrait today all the way from beautiful Norway. Although, captivating really only describes part of it. It also happens to be effortlessly natural, charmingly vintage, and perfectly romantic. Could a Norwegian summer setting be any more perfect for a couple of gorgeous newly weds? We think not. And it’s our good fortune that shared all the pretty with us!

Some may call it ‘The City of Lights‘ but I prefer to call Paris ‘The City of Love! Overflowing with history, romance and beauty, it’s a lover’s oasis filled with magic, and a romantic overload for the senses. It also holds a special place in the heart of this gorgeous duo Lindsay and Robert. Robert proposed to Lindsay in Paris and after their Summer wedding in Spain, decided it was the perfect place for their honeymoon – and we couldn’t agree more! With a collection of stunning photos by Keith Pitts Photography, these two honeymooners have created a ‘French Connection‘ they will never forget!
From the photographer: Lindsay and Robert are an American couple who were married in Spain this summer and decided to honeymoon in Paris this July. Paris was a special place for them as it was the spot where Robert proposed. Here it is in his own words: “The culmination of ring hiding and nervous secrecy came to fruition in the early hours of January 1, 2012. Along the banks of the Seine, overlooking the Eiffel Tower, I proposed to Lindsay, and to my great joy, she said yes. As I grasped for the ring in my jacket pocket, only hours after we brought in the new year, I had the feeling that I can only describe as the one you feel just before you get on a roller coaster: I knew that there was no turning back. I’ve known for a long time that Lindsay was the one for me, but to go through the process of actually proposing was as nerve racking as anything I’ve every done. When she said yes, all the shaky emotions of anxiety and worry were replaced by feelings of harmony, well being and especially love. I am so happy to be able to say that Lindsay will be my wife and that we will forever be connected for the rest of our lives.”
