From the photographer:

Stephanie and Randy’s beautiful brunch wedding couldn’t have been any more perfect! From her gorgeous flowers, to custom designed Barbara Bates dress I know it was exactly as Stephanie had described all those months ago on our very first phone call. We spoke for over an hour that day, having never shared 2 words before that point and just connected on what she wanted her wedding to be about. Her love for her wonderful partner Randy and each family and friend who joined them to celebrate. True love can really be found at any age, and it is so very clear that Stephanie and Randy have now found theirs.

Multicultural Chicago Wedding by Katherine Salvatori

We all love a romantic love story especially when it involves the chance meeting of two hearts from completely opposite sides of the globe. Katherine Salvatori captured this beautiful multicultural and traditional Chicago wedding and shares with us below how this Italian boy came to meet and fall in love with his all American girl.Chicago Wedding IdeasBlue Hydrangea and White Roses BouquetTraditional Chicago Church WeddingChicago Wedding CeremonyBlue White Wedding Flowers IdeasBlue and White Hydrangea Bridal BouquetTraditional Pink and White Wedding CakeWedding Cake Pink & White Fresh FlowersChicago Wedding PhotographyMulticultural Chicago WeddingChicago Wedding Water FountainDIY Olive Oil Wedding FavorsChicago Wedding ViewMulticultural Wedding

From the Photographer: Jennifer and Nino’s love story is a pretty amazing one (and one that most girls .only dream of). Nino grew up and lived in Milan, Italy, and Jennifer grew up in Glen Ellyn, IL. Jennifer went to Milan to teach English and met Nino, but was very wary to start a relationship. As her father recalled at the reception, she said “Dad, I met a guy, but don’t worry, it’s not like I’m going to marry him or anything.” Nino had to work hard to get Jenny, and that started with their first date being a coffee date. In the middle of the day. Jenny wanted to make sure that he was serious about respecting her. Over the course of the next few years that Jenny lived in Italy, her and Nino realized that they couldn’t live life without one another. Which lead us up to the wedding. The two got married in downtown Chicago at Our Lady of Pompeii, and Nino’s entire family from Italy flew in for the event. The ceremony was done in Italian and English, and our day as photographers started with Nino’s family greeting us with big hugs and asking to take pictures with us. Totally a loving family (and totally Italian!). This was an amazing day to be a part of, and it only got better as we walked the 3 blocks taking Jenny and Nino’s couple portraits in downtown Chicago to their reception at Francesca’s on Taylor street. This was no normal reception either. This was a 5 course meal filled with laughter, dancing and lots of love. The picture of the olive oil bottle shows the special touches as Nino’s family makes olive oil for their business and gave them as a gift from Italy for each table. I hope you love this multi-cultural wedding (with its Chicago flair) as much as I do.
