When I first saw this amazing Byron Bay wedding I knew it was absolutely mandatory to share it with all of you. Brought to life by the super talented Bushturkey Studio it is one of the prettiest of pretty Australian weddings you’ll ever see and is bound to take your breath away. There’s the pretty bride with her fabulous dress, her pretty bridesmaids with gorgeous long pastel pink frocks, her handsome groom (won’t dare call him ‘pretty’) and a pastel pink and white reception with sweet pretty details. Then of course there’s the romantic location of Bryon Bay in New South Wales, which even on a cloudy day is something to behold. What can I say?  . . . purely and simply divine. Favourite Australian Weddings of 2011

Welcome to 2012 lovely readers!  Boy, was 2011 a big year for our little blog. Not only did we start up Love Wed Bliss last  April (we’re haven’t even had our first birthday yet!), but we were also were priviledged to feature an eclectic mix of beautiful weddings, romantic memories and breathtaking inspiration for brides-to-be worldwide. So, as tribute to all the talented designers, photographers and gorgeous couples who shared they’re lives with us, we thought it appropriate to reflect on our first fantastic year by sharing our favourite posts from 2011.  Naturally we should begin from our own home base – so here our our top 3 favourite Australian weddings featured on LWB in 2011 proving that Aussies are right up there in the wedding stakes when it comes to amazing wedding style!

South Coast Modern Wedding

For our first real wedding from Australia we head down to the South Coast of NSW to a picture perfect little town near Canberra. This amazing modern wedding perfectly photographed by Pobke Photography this amazing affair boasted spectacular soft lighting, stunning coastal scenery, a shimmering wedding dress and pretty pastel blooms (just to name a few of the perfections) . Whimsical Sydney Wedding

Last, but by no means least, was this fantastic Sydney wedding by Sugar Love Weddings.
