As far as unique weddings go this bohemian beauty from Oland Sweden is the ultimate. A smokin’ hot barefoot bride and groom, an intimate Artist’s studio cottage for the charming wedding venue, and some drop-dead outdoor imagery by Malin Björkholm. Easy, carefree details combined with a creative and artsy background make this small boho lovefest a total stunner.
From the photographer: This was a very special wedding in Öland, an island in south east of Sweden. I wanted to capture the special landscape here. The couple was married in the groom’s and his father’ gallery – barefoot with sand on the floor, close, intimately. The lovely opera singer Thomas Pichler performed an Italian aria and music by Cat Stevens and I believe all of the guest wiped their eyes. The reception took place in the art studio, amongst brushes, paintings and stuffed birds. The groom’s father served an eight (!) course meal, cooked on the stove supervised by a dear! As the sun went down we went out to the Öland limestone in the magical light whilst the fog gathered around their naked feet.
