Woodlands Bride Inspiration

This woodlands bride inspiration shoot captured our attention. Not for any luxury elements, or opulent details. Not for a jaw-dropping venue or breathtaking location. But for the sheer simplicity of it all. With a simple baby breath’s bouquet and a pretty white gown is everything a bride needs to envoke beauty and pure elegance. The perfect inspiration for a wedding in the woods wouldn’t you agree?. We were sold. Hope you are too.

From the photographer

This shoot was inspired by the natural raw feel of Swarthmore College campus. The campus is covered in tall trees and has a stone amphitheater that made a gorgeous location for bridal portraits. The trees were enchanting with an ethereal feel. We used baby’s breath for a floral crown and bouquet. Using a simple flower for a bouquet can be gorgeous for a wedding. Her makeup look was a smokey eye with a dark red lip and a loose braid in her hair.

Croquet Themed Spring Wedding Shoot

This vibrant inspiration shoot combines the colours of spring and summer with a fun croquet theme.  The bright colours of the croquet balls created the inspiration for the entire setup from the retro stationery suite and striped place cards, right though to the zesty fruit desserts. With a gorgeous outdoor tablescape, milk shooters, and wheat grass place cards, it’s filled with plenty of creative ideas for a pretty outdoor affair. Just imagine… treating your guests to a fun lawn game to play during the reception – bound to be a hit we say!

Pretty Spring Outdoor Wedding by The Collection

There’s nothing more uplifting than a Spring wedding and this pretty outdoor affair from The Collection is just what we need to get through midweek. Meet newly weds Beth and Matt! This delightful pair based their entire wedding theme around their wedding shoes – hers with pretty girly bows and his with vintage inspired spats. They chose to take their wedding day back in time, and returned to the church Beth grew up in for their ceremony. It even features a brick dedicated to Beth and her brother just outside! With a gorgeous neutral color palette, fresh white Spring flowers and a sun-lit outdoor reception, this cute couple (with their crazy personalities), enjoyed the best Springtime celebration with all their loved ones.

Pink Crab Apple Blossoms Wedding Inspiration

This wedding inspiration shoot by Christina Gressianu came about by a simple obsession with the pink crab-apple blossoms which make an appearance every springtime in her hometown of Fort Collins.

Pink Crab Apple Wedding Inspiration

Christina decided to go with the simple concept of shooting a bride with pink crab apple trees as the backdrop. As she began organizing models, dresses, hair and make up, she started thinking about mirrors and came up with a story for the shoot . . . .

‘Three beautiful girls are surrounded by an amazing natural display of pink blossoms, yet are too vain to notice. Suddenly, they become aware of each other, the crab apple trees, and the gorgeous pink blossoms. Before long, they’re smiling, laughing together and delighting in all the beauty around them more significant than just their own.’

Christina wondered if her story was to cheesy? We don’t think so . . . because it sure made for some pretty inspiration!
