We just adore unforgettable engagement sessions, and this Noosa love shoot from Trigger Happy Images happens to be downright amazing! Gorgeous couple Tegan and Jordan captured their romance not just with a pretty picnic setting, lounging in the sun, and listening to the strum of a guitar. But they hit the jackpot by including a stroll along the breathtaking headland with the sun setting no less! Luckily for us (and you), the talented folks at Trigger Happy were happy to share…
From the bride-to-be:
Jordan and I met 19 years ago in ‘Year One’. Despite showing very little interest in me at the time, he managed to make a lasting impression on me as i can clearly remember from my primary school days thinking that i wanted to marry someone like Jordan when i grow up. It wasn’t until i left that particular school and some 11 years after that, that we crossed paths again at church. It was only then that he took an interest and finally asked me out (i’d been waiting for quite some time!).
For our one year anniversary we decided to celebrate by spending the weekend in Noosa. Little did I know that there was soon to be more reason to celebrate! Jordan had organised a picnic by the bay, where he popped the question. We wanted to keep our engagement relaxed and true to us – acoustic tunes over a picnic by the sea, much like the day Jordan proposed. We are counting down the days until we say the ‘I dos’ at the most beautiful property in the Byron Hinterland in the presence of our closest friends and family. We have loved every second of our journey together over the last 2 years, so much in fact we’ve been inspired to create Roost Film Co, a boutique film house specialising in short cinematic films to capture life’s special moments! http://vimeo.com/roostfilmco
From the photographers:
We spent one perfect afternoon with Tegan & Jordan, capturing the love, down at Fingal Headland in Northern NSW. The conditions were perfect: gorgeous people, stunning light, gorgeous location, a picnic, sparklers, party poppers and champagne. We couldn’t ask for better. We ended up spending over 2 hours with these guys and we think the images really show. No one was rushing, we were all just relaxed and having fun!

Do you remember Aleksey and Lilia? We featured their stunning destination wedding portrait on the magical island of Santorini and the images by Vangelis Photography were no less than breathtaking. Not wanting to stop there, they decided to continue the magic and have a honeymoon boudoir shoot together. The result? Sultry, glamorous and sizzling hot I say!
From the photographer: This boudoir session gave me a wonderful opportunity to apply my experience in fine art nude photography during my years as a young photography student. I tried to create an outcome that would be tasteful and elegant, because there is really a fine line in the aesthetics of photography between the artistic and the unrefined.

With crystal blue waters and a romantic sailboat as their inspiration, this captivating couple decided on a gorgeous sailing theme for their engagement session. We love everything about this fab shoot – from the nautical details, to their sunset stroll on the beach, to the absolutely STUNNING engagement ring. Add in some gorgeous images by Studio Sequoia, and well, we agree they can ‘sail away with me’ anytime!
From the photographer: When we got the call from Jackie and Chris saying they wanted to do an over-the-top engagement session on a sailboat, we just about lost out minds with excitement… then we met them and the first thing that flashed through my mind was, “holy moly, they’re GORGEOUS!” And SO IN LOVE!!! From the moment we came upon them readying their sailboat to the very last sip of champagne on the beach, their spark of passion and true intimacy just overwhelmed us. From San Diego Bay to Coronado beach, we’ve fallen head over heels for this couple.

You’re bound to love this little gem of an e session from Jonathon David Photographers. Wendy and Aaron’s oh-so-cute love shoot takes place in a heritage schoolhouse where they got to go back in time and play big kids together. An engagement shoot as adorable as this always gets a big tick in my book. School’s out class!
Bride-to-be Wendy shares: Aaron and I met rock climbing on Bishop’s Peak in San Luis Obispo. We both love nature, so outdoor engagement photos were an obvious choice. One less obvious thing about us, is the goofy streak Aaron and I have in common. We decided to play off of our silly personalities by doing part of the shoot in a historic one room school house. I am a teacher at an outdoor school, so the idea fit us perfectly. We sure had fun acting like over-sized kids. We added details with the chalk and blackboard, before we headed over to the pond on the school property! Because we love nature and the outdoors so much we decided to take a small boat out on the water.

It goes without saying that we love, love, love weddings here at Love Wed Bliss. But we must confess that when a engagement shoot lands in our laps, which so happens to be styled to perfection, we break out in swooning fit that we would usually reserve for the prettiest of sweet I do’s. So what better way to kick start 2013 than with this swoon-worthy love shoot captured by Katy Hall Photography. The gorgeous Kayla and Josh stole our hearts immediately – with their cool Anthropologie style, picnic engagement session and amazing blue eyes …. so much so, we have no doubt they will run away with your hearts too!
From Kayla: Josh and I met my first night at college in Winona State at a friend’s house and continued bumping into each other through mutual friends and an organization on campus. We first began hanging out with each other because of our mutual interest in the TV show LOST, watching episodes at his house for a study break (or procrastination). I knew he must really like me when I got Swine Flu that semester and he still hung out with me when I was feeling pretty sick! The proposal – There are some really cool bluffs in Winona and a lookout over the whole town from one called Garvin Heights. Some of my friends brought me up there one night and down a little path lit with candles he was waiting with chocolate covered strawberries and my favorite food – cupcakes! A friend filmed the whole thing. My favorite part of the whole story is that’s where my dad proposed to my mom.
From photographer Katy Hall: I choose Tamarck Reserves for their setting because it offered a beautiful organic feel to the first part of their shoot. Kayla and Josh are very stylish, but very simple and real and I wanted their love and fun spirits to shine through. We then went to Otter Lake to bring their adventurous spirit to the shoot. They love anything that allows them to have fun together and is out of the ordinary. Their big day is July 6, 2013. They are getting married at an amazing venue – the Mayowood Stone Barn. I am already counting the days, because this wedding is going to be the icing on the cake to this session!

From the bride Charlene: My wedding day was perfect because I surrounded myself with those closest to me. The actual day flew by, but the little moments I shared with my husband and mom and dad stand out, and I will have those beautiful memories forever. Our wedding took place at The Belgium House in Longview, Texas on October 14, 2012.
