Some may call it ‘The City of Lights‘ but I prefer to call Paris ‘The City of Love! Overflowing with history, romance and beauty, it’s a lover’s oasis filled with magic, and a romantic overload for the senses. It also holds a special place in the heart of this gorgeous duo Lindsay and Robert. Robert proposed to Lindsay in Paris and after their Summer wedding in Spain, decided it was the perfect place for their honeymoon – and we couldn’t agree more! With a collection of stunning photos by Keith Pitts Photography, these two honeymooners have created a ‘French Connection‘ they will never forget!
From the photographer: Lindsay and Robert are an American couple who were married in Spain this summer and decided to honeymoon in Paris this July. Paris was a special place for them as it was the spot where Robert proposed. Here it is in his own words: “The culmination of ring hiding and nervous secrecy came to fruition in the early hours of January 1, 2012. Along the banks of the Seine, overlooking the Eiffel Tower, I proposed to Lindsay, and to my great joy, she said yes. As I grasped for the ring in my jacket pocket, only hours after we brought in the new year, I had the feeling that I can only describe as the one you feel just before you get on a roller coaster: I knew that there was no turning back. I’ve known for a long time that Lindsay was the one for me, but to go through the process of actually proposing was as nerve racking as anything I’ve every done. When she said yes, all the shaky emotions of anxiety and worry were replaced by feelings of harmony, well being and especially love. I am so happy to be able to say that Lindsay will be my wife and that we will forever be connected for the rest of our lives.”

A very happy Monday to everyone! Hopefully you had a wonderful weekend. To make sure your week kicks off to a fabulous start, we have a darling after wedding photo shoot from Mustard Seed Photography for you all to enjoy. I love the idea of a day after session and gorgeous couple Loren & Caleb from Texas, nailed the ‘rustic and relaxed‘ vibe perfectly, as far as I’m concerned. In a beautiful outdoor field, with plenty of natural light and their adorable boxer ‘Cowboy,’ they show us how you don’t need much to keep your wedding day high alive!
From the Bride & Groom: Our wedding was the perfect day, but the schedule was tight. We didn’t want to miss out on plenty of gorgeous photos in our wedding outfits, so we opted to have an After-Wedding Session with Kat (of Mustard Seed Photography). We told her we wanted a more outdoorsy, rustic look and that’s exactly what we got! We explored around the rural country, past North Houston, to find some more quaint, off-the-beaten-path locations. Our first stop was at a field with flowers and gorgeous tall grass. From there, we went to a field of dandelions and lastly, visited a lovely plot with sunshine and trees that looked heavenly. Since Cowboy, our Boxer, couldn’t make it to the wedding we brought him along for some photos with us – he is a very loyal buddy of ours and it made our photos extra special. We purchased him a bow-tie at Macy’s and he was good enough to keep it on for the whole session! And in between eating dandelions, rolling in the grass and running free through the fields, we managed to get some great photos of all three of us together. Naturally, he tried to steal the show! We couldn’t be happier with how these turned out and are grateful to have such wonderful, candid photos of ourselves from after the wedding – when we didn’t have to worry about rushing back to guests or wedding events. And best of all – we are grateful to have had a morning all to ourselves, away from work and the stresses of life, just frolicking around in the beautiful scenery.

Today, I’m really excited to share with you this gorgeous Miami After Wedding shoot sent over by the lovely and talented Nami Dadlani. I particularly love ‘after wedding sessions‘ as they really give the bride and groom an opportunity to relax and have fun in front of the camera without the pressure of the big day ahead. For that reason, you’ll see why there is so much to love about Valeria and Jose’s shoot. First of all, it takes place in the stunning Fairfield Tropical Garden Miami, Florida, giving the whole session a relaxed, romantic feel. Then, lovely Valeria (who I might add, is quite the darling), brings a sense of fun and cheekiness to the shoot. She’s a total natural, effortlessly posing in comfy pink flats, cool sunnies and a fabulous Panama! But, most of all I absolutely LOVE the final picture of the newlyweds beneath the veil! So intimate and really the perfect finale to a truly wonderful shoot.
Thank you Nami for sharing with us this fun and romantic wedding shoot. Once you’ve feasted your eyes on these love-filled pictures, be sure to head over to Nami’s photography blog to check out the entire portraiture or visit our Facebook Page to see the all pics in our Photo Gallery.

I’m taken back (in a good way), by this Nevada wedding after shoot featured on One Stylish Bride yesterday. The whole shoot took place in a ghost town in Nelson, Nevada. Using a unique location like this for your wedding photos is such a great idea if you want to give your wedding a distinct edge and artistic flavor. Hat’s off to the talented Las Vegas photographer JamieY who captured this wonderful fashion inspired shoot. The choice of using desolate scenery and abandoned machinery as a backdrop created photos with so much atmosphere and character. And how about the plane wreck shot – amazing!! Do yourself a favor, check out these stunning pics then head on over to OSB to see the full dose of beautifully ‘haunting’ after wedding inspiration.
Wow what an awesome back drop!
Fantastic angle – love this!
And . . . this is the money shot. Fabulous!
